Three things to know about the new 2023 Nissan Ariya

The Nissan Ariya will arrive in Canada next year as a 2023 model. It is Nissan's first electric vehicle since the Nissan LEAF arrived 10 years ago. At the time, Nissan was the pioneer of the electric vehicle segment in Canada and the Ariya is the sequel for Nissan electric vehicles.

That said, the new 2023 Nissan Ariya has features that will appeal to electric vehicle buyers today. They want more interior space, more versatility and even more advanced technologies. Here are three things to know about the all-new Nissan Ariya.

It will have excellent range

The 2023 Nissan Ariya will be offered with two battery choices, a standard 65-kWh battery and a 90-kWh long-range battery. The first will offer around 320 kilometers of range while the second will offer 482 kilometers.

The more powerful battery will power a 290-kW motor which will also deliver 443 lb-ft of torque. Each battery will be available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. This system will be quite advanced with its 4ORCE technology, described by Nissan as a successor to the ATTESA E-TS technology of the Nissan GT-R. The 4ORCE system will be able to use the brakes at each wheel to maximize cornering force and improve not only stability, but performance and agility as well.

It will have a lot of technology

In addition to its 4ORCE technology, the Nissan Ariya will offer the e-Pedal technology introduced on the Nissan LEAF which allows driving using only the accelerator (when you release the pedal, the vehicle brakes with the same intensity as when pressing brake pedal).

The 2023 Nissan Ariya will also be entitled to ProPILOT Assist 2.0 technology which offers several autonomous driving capabilities.

It will offer a lot of interior space

Finally, the new 2023 Nissan Ariya will be very spacious, offering one of the most generous cargo spaces of any electric vehicle on the market. The new Nissan Ariya will be able to meet the needs of your active lifestyle or your young family.
