Three things to know about the 2022 Nissan Frontier

The Nissan Frontier unveiled earlier this year is one of the most impressive new trucks to arrive on the market in quite some time. Featuring a bold design, ample power, and rugged dynamics that make it even more capable than the previous Frontier, the new-generation Nissan pickup is designed to meet and exceed the needs of truck owners. Here are three things worth noting about the 2022 Nissan Frontier.

The new Frontier is very powerful

The 2022 Nissan Frontier is powered by a standard direct injection V6 that was fully redesigned in 2020 with over 90% new components added. This engine is the most powerful engine you can get in this segment standard with 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. A new 9-speed automatic gearbox offers quicker gearshifts and smoother operation than the outgoing 5-speed while also being a lot more efficient and making better use of the powerful engine under the hood.

Thanks to this new gearbox and muscular powertrain, the 2022 Nissan Frontier can tow up to 2,944 kg, or 6,490 lb. The Frontier also features an anti-sway system for a trailer that is standard.

It is as comfortable as it is rugged

The 2022 Nissan Frontier is not just more powerful, it is more refined as well. It offers a range of comfort features that improve safety and usability starting with impressive active driver assistance features. These include forward collision risk warning which is exclusive in the segment, tire pressure monitoring system, traffic sign recognition (exclusive as well), intelligent cruise control, driver alert warning, and more!

The Frontier also features the largest centre touchscreen in the segment at 9 inches, and this screen features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. A driver assistance 7-inch screen is also offered and there are a ton of storage areas inside including a 4-litre area in the centre console and multiple areas in the doors.

It starts at under $40,000

The 2022 Nissan Frontier has a starting price of just $39,998 and comes standard with 4x4. There are four King Cab versions and four Crew Cab versions. The top-of-the-line Crew Cab is priced at $49,498. Contact us today to learn more about the new 2022 Nissan Frontier!
