Three New Technologies Found in the New 2021 Nissan Rogue

The Rogue embarks on a new adventure for the 2021 model year with an all-new exterior design and a host of technologies that make your driving experience easier, safer, and fun. These updates and more are generating much excitement in the compact SUV segment. Here, we explore three new technologies the Rogue offers for its 2021 model lineup.

Improved ProPILOT Assist is updated for easier driving

ProPiLOT Assist is a hands-on technology that makes driving in traffic or the open highway a simpler, less tiring endeavor. It uses steering assist and Intelligent Cruise Control to adjust acceleration and braking in varying amounts of traffic. It also reads signs and helps the Rogue to adjust speed.

This system improves in 2021 with new radar and camera technology that makes braking smoother, steering better and vehicle detection more accurate.

ProPilot Assist with Navi-link offers more features. When linked to Nissan's Door-to-Door Navigation systems, the navigation map data helps the vehicle proactively respond to upcoming curves, exits and other areas by reducing speed, for example.

Three displays to keep you informed in the 2021 Nissan Rogue

The engineers at Nissan carefully designed an ergonomic, three-display cluster so you have the best information along with the best presentation possibilities.

The available 10.8-inch head-up display, which is a first for the model series, reduces the driver’s workload by keeping the road in sight while providing vital information. This reduces driver fatigue and stress through the use of a convenient point of focus instead of scanning several instruments and readings. The 274 mm display is among the largest in its segment.

The available 12.3-inch instrument cluster is customizable and allows you to add maps, menus, and more. The full-colour output is designed to be clear and brilliant, making readouts quicker and easier.

Drivers customize their experience with a 9.0-inch touch screen display. Also designed to provide clear output with familiar tap, swipe, and pinch operation, this display controls your entertainment, apps and other vehicle functions.

Other technologies available in the 2021 Nissan Rogue

There are many other new technologies in the 2021 Rogue, like Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety technologies offer an advanced safety suite, and wireless charging in the center console, and intelligent cargo management, to name a few.
