The New 2022 Nissan Frontier Is Here

The all-new 2022 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup truck is here and it offers the best in terms of technology with segment-leading power and capabilities. With a more robust stance, audacious fascia and rugged appearance, this new Frontier also sets the benchmark in the segment in terms of design.

The 2022 Nissan Frontier Is more powerful and more functional

Under the hood of the new Nissan Frontier, you will find a powerful standard 3.8-litre direct injection V6 engine which outputs 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque and features 93 per cent new or redesigned parts. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission which feeds a shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive system with 2WD/4HI/4LO modes.

The Frontier also offers a 4-wheel limited-slip system and standard Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control. Towing capacity remains similar at 6,490 pounds.

For off-road enthusiasts, the PRO-4X model adds an electronic locking differential, Bilstein off-road shocks and skid plates to conquer your adventures in the woods.

The Frontier is offered in a variety of models, cabs and bed sizes. The Frontier Crew Cab SV also offers an Extended Wheelbase (LWB) version. A 5-foot bed is standard on the PRO-4X Crew Cab and a 6-foot bed is standard on the SV Crew Cab Long Wheelbase models. Many more combinations are available.

Frontier beds benefit from bed utility components like a factory-applied spray-on bed liner and Utili-track Channel System which provides maximum flexibility thanks to three special "C" cross-section rails mounted in the bed. In addition, four fixed bed tie-down hooks help secure gear and cargo.

A dampened tailgate assist is also standard on all models. Inside the bed, two standard stop lamp lights mounted on the back of the cab and two new available LED cargo bed lights provide maximum lighting.

The 2022 Nissan Frontier sports a brand new interior

Inside, the Frontier gets a complete makeover. And in addition to its new design features, the interior gains a new 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, much more storage than before and a host of active safety technologies. Nissan Zero Gravity seats are also standard front on all Frontiers.
