Here's the all-new 2020 Nissan Qashqai

Unveiled at the last Chicago Auto Show in February, the new 2020 Nissan Qashqai takes all elements of the current Qashqai while bringing significant improvements in technology, comfort and functionality.

Scheduled for later this year, the 2020 Nissan Qashqai is an SUV that stands out in many different ways. Visually, we immediately notice Nissan's new visual signature.

The latter includes the V-shaped grille at the front and rounded flanks that give a look that is immediately recognizable to the new Nissan Qashqai. Without completely transforming the overall look of the Nissan Qashqai, the 2020 edition is certainly a successful evolution.

A very important model for Nissan, the new Qashqai is the bridge between the FWD-only Nissan Kicks and the Nissan Rogue. The Qashqai is also the most affordable all-wheel drive SUV in the Nissan lineup. This is a small sport utility that fits perfectly in urban life while having the space to follow your active lifestyle.

Among the new 2020 Nissan Qashqai safety features, there is the addition of the Nissan Safety Shield 360 system that is offered on SV and SL models. The latter includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and High Beam Assist (HBA).

The new Qashqai will also offer the ProPILOT ASSIST system that adds an extra layer of safety. The goal of ProPILOT ASSIST is certainly to improve safety, but also to reduce driving fatigue and make driving more enjoyable. The system is a "hands-on" driving assistance technology that eases driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions, such as single-lane highway driving
