2022 Nissan Pathfinder vs 2022 Honda Pilot: The Pathfinder is more modern and gives you more

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder has been completely redesigned this year and features an all-new 9-speed transmission that improves performance while increasing the capabilities of Nissan's mid-size three-row SUV. Thanks to its novelties, the Pathfinder is able to stand out from its direct rivals like the 2022 Honda Pilot.

The Honda Pilot is a quality sport utility vehicle, but it has not been renewed for several years. It therefore cannot compete with the Pathfinder when it comes to technology, design and interior quality. In addition, the Pathfinder offers better cargo capacity and more space inside. Let's take a closer look.

More powerful engine and 6,000 lb towing capacity in the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2022 Honda Pilot and the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder both offer a 3.5-liter V6 engine. That said, the Pathfinder's engine offers 284 horsepower while the Pilot offers 280 horsepower. More powerful, the Pathfinder also offers 259 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 6,000 lbs compared to 5,000 lbs for the Honda Pilot. The Pathfinder therefore gives you better towing capacity and better capabilities.

It also offers more interior space, including more headroom with 1,072mm versus 1,019mm. The rear seats in the middle bench are also more spacious, especially for your legs. The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder offers 1,059mm of legroom compared to 975mm in the Honda Pilot.

In other words, the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will be more spacious and welcoming for you and your family in the first two rows. In addition, it offers technologies not found in the Pilot, including the fully digital information display, a larger central display, and the semi-automated Nissan ProPILOT Assist system.
