2018 Nissan Titan: Ready to take on the Big Boys

The pickup segment is one rife with some pretty stiff competition, and models that have been around and at the top of their game for decades. And after taking a short hiatus, the Nissan Titan is back and with a vengeance, ready to take on the big boys in the pickup truck segment. And so far it’s doing well at keeping up, and even surpassing a few.

The larger-than-life mesh front grille of the 2018 Nissan Titan gives this truck some serious attitude on the road, and lets everyone around know it means business, and has the capability to get that business done.

A spacious and well-appointed interior can be found in the 2018 Nissan Titan no matter which configuration you choose: Single, Crew or King can. Seats can be outfitted in either cloth or leather, depending on trim level chose and your preference, of course. Standard features include a standard 5.0” colour display screen (there is an optional 7.0”), satellite radio, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the audiophiles out there, an optional 12- or 10-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system will keep the tunes bumping for you.

While you can option out your 2018 Nissan Titan to suit your personal style and work needs, the on thing you can’t choose is the engine. Regardless of model or cab configuration chosen, you’ll find the same engine throughout: a 5.6L V8 that produces 390-horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. A 7-speed automatic transmission reigns in that power, and the Nissan Titan also offers a switch-operated 2-speed transfer case 4WD.

The 2018 Nissan Titan is about more than just good looks and interior goodies; this pickup can also get some serious work done with a towing capacity of approximately 9,200lbs (depending on model chosen) and a max payload in the 1,600lbs range (again, depending on which Titan model you choose).
