Three things that are easy to love about the 2021 Nissan Versa

The 2021 Nissan Versa arrived on the market this year after having been completely redesigned. It is Nissan's entry-level compact vehicle, and it is one of the few remaining small cars available in Canada. Nissan, unlike other automakers, isn't giving up on the segment and understands that there are still consumers out there that want a small vehicle that is affordable and fuel-efficient, but that still delivers a certain level of luxury as well as impressive safety. Here are three things that are very easy to love about the 2021 Nissan Versa and make it the perfect second car, first-buyer car, student car, or car for anyone who just wants to get from point A to point B in an enjoyable vehicle that doesn't compromise and doesn't cost a lot to own.

 The spirited performance

The Nissan Versa may be small, but it's still packs quite a punch. Its four-cylinder engine delivers 122 horsepower along with 114 pound-feet of torque and it can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission, or a CVT automatic. Better yet, the Nissan Versa is incredibly fuel-efficient with an average fuel consumption rating of just 8.6 L per 100km in the city and 6.7 L per 100km on the highway for an average of 7.7 L per 100km.

More cargo space than some SUVs

Again, the Nissan Versa is small, but it has a lot of interior space and honestly, if this is your only vehicle, you'll never have to borrow anybody's car to go to IKEA or Costco. There is a total of 416 L of total cargo space in the trunk, which is more than some sport utility vehicles. Inside, there is 2,519 L of Passenger volume. To put that in perspective, that's just 500 L less interior space than the Nissan Rogue.

A lot of technology

Think small cars can't have a lot of tech? You would be wrong with the Nissan Versa. It features the available Nissan Safety Shield 360 system which provides advanced safety technology like automatic braking as well as blind spot detection and emergency braking which is very useful in the city.

With it's available digital instrument cluster, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, sporty yet luxurious interior, and sub-$20,000 starting price, there is really a lot to love about the 2021 Nissan Versa. Visit us today to learn more.
