2021 Nissan Ariya brings Nissan tech to new segment

Nissan has a new electric vehicle and it will go on sale next year. The brand-new 2021 Nissan Ariya is a fully-electric crossover that will join the pioneering Nissan LEAF. Featuring 480 kilometres of range and packed with advanced features such as ProPilot 2.0, the Nissan Ariya will combine versatility with impressive range.

There will be two battery options on the 2021 Nissan Ariya. The first is a 63.0-kWh unit while the second will offer 87 kWh. The starting price is expected to be around $45,000, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Nissan says the Ariya can reach 60 mph in just 5.0 seconds. It features a torque-split system taken directly from the Nissan GT-R.

Inside, the stunning interior will feature two 12.3 digital screens that provide housing for the infotainment system as well as the instrument cluster. There will be a remote park technology that allows owners to use their mobile phone to park their Ariya from outside the vehicle. A range of advanced driver assistance features will also be offered.
